Local Disk Data on Desktops & Laptops

Data saved on the local hard drive is NOT backed-up. If you accidentally delete a file or your hard-drive crashes, you will lose your locally saved data.

It is recommended that users backup their data on a regular basis. Some of the methods for backing up your data are:

• Using the ENCS network drives available to ENCS computers account holders.
• USB flash disk or any portable USB drive.

NOTE: Data recovery is an expensive and a lengthy process and is done only in extreme case as authorized by AITS management.
