Modifying the Mozilla Thunderbird Reply Header

This HowTo page will help Mizilla Thunderbird version 2.0.0 users in installing an extension that improves the format of the replied mails. Before you start please download and extract (unzip) the following extension file.

To proceed follow these steps:

1. Click on Tools>Add-ons>Extensions in Mozilla Thunderbird

2. Click on Install and browse for the file you have downloaded (changequote-0.5.xpi), and click Open.
3. Click on Install Now

You will get confirmation for the completion of the installation of the extension:

4. Close the extensions window and restart Mozilla Thunderbird.

To configure the extension follow these steps:

1. Click on Tools>Extensions in Mozilla Thunderbird.
2. Select 'Change Quota and reply Format 0.5' extension and click on Options.

NOTE: If you add this extension to your Mozilla Thunderbird profile on an ENCS-Managed system, it will be availble to you on all ENCS-Managed systems.
