How to create a personalized letterhead in latex (Computer Science Dept.
Only)

[Modified Monday, Jan 9th 2006 by andrej]

This works with latex letter style but it should work
with any latex.

First you can create a .cslhrc file in your unix home directory.
This will personalize the letterhead with your information
in the upper right hand corner.

An example .cslhrc file contains

name: John Smith
title: Manager, Apps and Info Sys
tel: (514) 848-2424 ext 3000
fax: (514) 848-2830
email: jsmith@cse.concordia.ca

If you do not want it personalized then there is no need
for this file.

For now you should try this on a solaris host like
alpha, orchid or pandora. I don't think we have it installed
on linux.

Then all you need do is pass the output of dvips through
cslh:

latex letter.tex
dvips letter.dvi | cslh > letter.ps
