The main purposes of real time systems laboratory are to provide a practical experience working on a real time platform and to improve C++ and reusability skills. For the codes to be reusable for other project components develop a POSIX compliant set of classes for pthreads, semaphores and timer. This lab is equipped with 5 train sets that include QNX development stations, target machines. They all are connected over QNX local area network. You can access this network by using your QNX account, which normally is ready at the beginning of each semester. For more information about QNX lab, please visit below link -

Lab Manual: There is a detailed lab manual to describe the lab requirement. This manual is available on your professor and Real-time System Analyst webpages.

Your old QNX codes: If you had taken the coen320 or coen421, you should have some QNX codes stored on the ENCS filers. If you really need those old codes, you can ask the system analyst to put them under your home directory.
