The IITS-recommended username (NetName) is used as the ENCS username.
Students cannot modify their ENCS username unless there is a serious reason (e.g. the username is an offensive word in their native language, etc.). Do note that student login names
MUST contain an underscore.
If the case that the auto-generated username is offensive, the student has to contact
IITS (@H925) first, and request a alternate IITS username (NetName).
The student should send an email to servicedesk@encs.concordia.ca after the modification to the NetName has been made at the IITS level.
