[Modified Tuesday, May 2nd 2006 by murtaza]

Pserver mode is not enabled on our unix server.

Please use ssh for authentication from WinCVS.

Click Admin -> Preferences,
from "WinCVS Preferences" Window -> General Tab,

set up the following:
- Authentication: ssh (not pserver)
- Path: /groups/g/groupname/cvsroot
( specify where is your cvs repository directory)
- Host address: dea.ece.concordia.ca ( or sunset.cs.concordia.ca)
- User name: yourusername

Click OK.

Make sure you already initialized and imported a project/module.

To initialize, you have to click Remote -> Create a new repository.
(It will create a CVSROOT under your cvs repository directory.)
To import a project in a folder(e.g. C:\TEMP\example),
make sure C:\Temp\example as current selected folder,
then click Remote -> Import Module.

To checkout a project under C:\TEMP,
make sure C:\TEMP as current selected folder,
then click Remote -> checkout module, input module name (e.g. example)

Note: a command line window will popup to ask your password.
