How to Map a Network Drive in Windows
A script can be used to map all network drives called Map ENCS Drives.
If you are using Windows XP you probably need to install
PowerShell before.
Download Map ENCS Drives Version 1.4.5 November 20, 2012.
If you are using Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later you can download and the
AppleScript Application ENCS_Map Version 1.1 May 08, 2013.
** NOTE ** It only worked if the computer is connected through Concordia network.
You can map manually each drives by following the instruction below:
1. Click [Start] - > [Computer]
2. Select "Map Network Drive"
3. Select a Drive letter (eg: G:).
Then type the network path to the share (Eg: \\filer-users.encs.concordia.ca\<encs_username>)
you want to connect to in the "Folder" space.
Select "Connect using different credentials"
4. Click "Finish" to connect the drive.
You will be prompted for a username and password.
Supply your ENCS username and password.
The following table lists the shares you can currently map.
